Not always. Especially if it's combined with other loot like tin cans or stuff like that 9 times out of 10 you won't get the option to pick up the backpack until you pick that stuff up.

In all honesty I wouldn't do too much gaming at all with 5 gigs a month lol. I have a 6gb data plan on my iphone alone and I still use upwards of 3 gigs a month. You must be somewhere rural with a satellite connection or something eh? Sucks frown.gif

^This. Happens all the time to me. As mentioned, just pick up the other items around it, then you should either get the option to take/open it, or you can go to the gear menu and right-arrow it over to your inventory.

Yep! Good point; make sure to drop your current pack before picking up the new one if you have stuff in it that you don't want to lose, just in case.

I found a bus in Elektro right here in US 1993!
I killed two people who were trying to take it, and as I was putting a fuel tank on the bus, some guy came around and killed me while I couldn't move. sozo.gif
I want that bus.

It's best to make a "safe pile" by starting with like a can of coke or a flare or something that doesn't really matter if it disappears to ensure the ground you're dropping on is safe rather than just dropping something important and having it ruin your game lol.

Current bug that works ONLY with the ALICE pack (that I've tested). If you find a ghille suit, drop your alice pack in the road, equip ghille, and it actually puts a new alice pack on you (nothing inside) effectively cloning your pack. Happened to me by accident and my friend did it and it worked for him. Worth trying out at least. I've tried it with different packs, but it just gives you a starting pack or nothing.
