Last interview I heard with Rocket which was last week, it's launching in alpha stage in Dec, following the same plan that Minecraft did. Alpha for cheap and such.

Have read a few comments about how crap DayZ looks in some YouTube videos, so I decided to do a small recording of my own and upload it.

With everything maxed out, it looks absolutely awesome tbh - it's just a pity that even with the rig I have I can not maintain a playable framerate with it looking so good

Most people play on low because of poor performance and turning everything lower makes it easier to see players (at least turning down shadows does).

Am I the only one who cannot find any Cars Or Transport Spend Over 12 hours looking at most of the spawns near the coast Over 3 differnet servers To find nothing Not a single one

Any Tips ?

People tend to horde the vehicles. Once they get hold of one vehicle it is easier for them to get more. You could go search the borders of the map, that is usually the places people have camps.

This is exactly what they do. I know a lot of clans who play dayz will all fix a chopper and then fly around the map collecting every vehicle they can. They then drive/ride those vehicles back to their camp.
This is easier said then done. If the ppl who are hording the vehicles have the skills to go around the whole map and collect every vehicle, then they have the skill to protect and keep them.

If you want to try find them, then check in the area between the following points:
Berezino -> Dubrovka -> Gvozdno -> Petrovka -> up to north edge of map -> heading east along north edge of map past Pobeda Dam and across to Guba -> along coast back down to Berezino

In the area that falls between the above points is almost always where the bigger clans setup bases and horde vehicles and weapons - good luck not being scoped before you can even get close

For those playing lingor that want some weapons and are on the southeast corner of the map or east of Calamar, and want weapons.

Raid the barracks northeast of marcella, though the loot maps say medium value, it's loaded with weapons. AK-74s, AKMs, M16s, M4s, M4 CCO, G17, 870 Flashlight, Smoke grenades, H203 grenades, M14 Aimpoint, etc. I found all those in that one camp. Though it's tough i used 6 smoke grenades to keep them off me. Every weapon i have has a light on it though G17, 870, and M4 CCO.

I tend to find A LOT of camps around Riffy / Black forest.

Been playing on the OCN server for a couple days now. Been pretty fun. Finally got most of the controls down. I have died twice so far. First one I had no clue what the buttons where and had about 5 zombies eat me. Second, finally fired a shot after finding a gun and running around for several hours. Just brought way tooooo many zombies with the shooting. All in all this is a great server. I have only seen one real player and they were in a vehicle so it didn't last long.
