Started playing Namalsk - it's SO much better than Chernarus. It's basically what DayZ should have been the whole time. All they need to do is polish up the map, and they're set.

Really? I think it's even farther away from what DayZ should have been than vanilla DayZ is. There's even less focus on survivability, there's even more military loot, etc., it's pretty much just deathmatch with zombies.

Yes, but it also solves a lot of problems. Half of vanilla is essentially trying to meet up with friends, or getting to a city. That's not fun. Nemalsk, while having get everywhere lets you meet up way faster (less dumb spawns) and actually get a vehicle.

Also, after playing vanilla as elektro dm, everything is better.

Agreed. It does some things well, like the cold, but it's a total death-match.

I would like to see a mix of DayZ+ and Namalsk. Well.. kinda. I want to see the balance and features of DayZ+ in a cold environment. tongue.gif

DayZ+ man! Meeting up with people might still be a problem, but I would rather deal with that than worrying about other players killing on sight. xD

Some wonderful Namalsk stuff:

We managed to get the ONLY two Heli's in the game. I'm flying this one with my friend on the gunner seat, my other friend is in the other helo.


Just some of our gear. G36-SD, SVSK, M107, etc. with the helo in the pic.


We originally had one URAL, but we stole another guy's. It had food, blood bags, etc. He was asking for it over chat. Was funny.


Our vehicle collection. We were going to give the UAZ to the guy that we stole the URAL from, but with a Silenced Makarov, one mag, and one food.
