Nope. if it's connected to the main DayZ hive, it MUST be public and cannot be a 'closed' server, it's against the rules. Now if it was on a private hive, it could be passworded and locked.

http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php

Once you have done that, try again it again (that fixed a similar problem for me)

if that didn't work, start OA in Steam, but don't launch it. When the window comes up asking you if you want to play/launch in windowed mode/reinstall BattlEye, click on the BattlEye one.

If it still doesn't work, download BattlEye from here http://www.battleye.com/download.html

It kinda worked, I still get the same error on DayZ "Official Hive" servers. Such as OCN server.
