monitor and gaming question

Thread Starter
Can my video card run games maxed out, on a 22/20" or 19" lcd screen? Which would be at 1680x1050 and 1440x900 respectively. I want a big screen monitor, but I am worried that my videocard won't be able to run at the recommended res of the monitors.

Screen size has nothing to do with frames, only the resolution.

So if you can handle 1600x1200, you can handle 1680x1050
and if you can handle 1280x1024 you should be able to handle 1440x900.

And yea, I think your video card will do fine

Even if games/programs don't recognize your resolution, you can always add it via the Nvidia control panel. I had to do that with CS:S.

My setup runs perfectly fine. Every game at almost full setings...cept obvs Oblivion...

Lookit it this way...run all your games at 1600x1200 and if they can run like that...it can run 1690x1050 EASY.

Alright sounds good. Ill test it all out once I get my video card back from eVGA. If not I guess I could just get another video card and waterblock for christmas.
