Surround, noise canceling headphones?

Thread Starter
I'm looking for surround gaming headphones for my pc. I want something that can compete with the 5.1 surround speakers that I use for my Xbox. It's important that they have have noise canceling as good as the beats studios that I am currently using, as when I am OCing the fans get pretty loud. Could you please tell me if such headphones exist, what they are called and a link if possible?

Does just turning volume up not do enough for you in terms of noise cancellation? I'm currently using my new HARX 700's and they're freaking amazing but don't have "Noise cancelling" yet at the same time give them even a hint of volume and I'm dead to anything in the outside world.

Except what you're doing actually damages your hearing over time....you know this, right?

Interesting. I'm not sure I've ever seen surround headsets that are noise cancelling. I know a lot have noise cancelling mics. In any case, if you need noise cancelling headphones before you can hear your game, is your computer even practical?

There's worse things I could be doing to my hearing, for example going to concerts.. Typing on a keyboard too much can cause arthritis, staring at a monitor too long can cause eyestrain and so can reading. If we are going to nitpick I can but for the thread's sake I won't.

Oh and by "turn up" I meant from 0% to 15%. Not loud or damaging at all.
