Now every time I run Prime95 blend I get an error Windows Defender stopped working and the usage drops down to 75%. Would this be from lack of voltage or what? I never saw the voltage go to 1.3v which it's set at though it stays around 1.25v
voltage drops due to v-droop as mentioned above, you need to set LLC (load line calibration) somewhere around 75% or high, not to max, then ya get v-rise which is bad for the cpu cuase it spikes real nasty on un-load...cant see that with any program though.
umm 1.3 sounds a touch high for 4.4 on ivy, see if you can get it stable with a little less voltage like 1.2 to 1.25, it sounds like its throttling due to really high temps, what do you use to monitor temps?
[EDIT] the 212, even the evo isnt all that awesome, especially when dealing with an ivy(really hot), 4.4 may not sound like an awesome Oc, but compared to sandy its about a 4.6 to 4.8 OC depending on APP/game.Edited by Tyreal - 5/2/12 at 9:58pm
