How high can I OC a 3570k 24/7 before I degrade the chip's longevity?

I will be buying a new system very soon. I want the system to last me a long time but also produce good performance results.
I was wondering what a recommended happy medium would be for someone like me that wants to OC but not increase the voltage? 4.2? 4.3? or possibly lower? Will turning off my system when not in use increase longevity? Or does the action of turning on the computer have anything to do with degrading any components possibly?

I will be using a hr-02 macho with an asus p8z77-v board, possibly p8z77-v pro if that helps.

ANY overclocking is going to degrade a chip over time. As long as you stay within the chip's maximum voltage I don't really see any issues to get 4-5 years without issues. You can probably push to about 4.8 1.4v with no problems (not sure what is the voltage reuqired for 4.8 on the chip though).

OC without voltage increase? Won't OC very far.

Parts generally only degrade when in use, so having it off will produce less "wear" than having it on all the time, especially with mechanical parts (ie: fans, HDDs, etc.).

no one knows because every chip is different. thats what makes it so fun.

dont leave voltage on auto. and intel says to stay below 1.35v and you should be good.
for 24/7 i would stay at 1.3v-ish. see how fast it can go at that voltage.
