Extremely high temps 2600K - Page 2

The 25 C increase is definitely not normal! Even with my CPU and GPU folding, I see only a 2 C increase in my CPU temps at load.

Those temps are way higher than anything I've seen under load. When I F@H (GPU&CPU), my max CPU temp and ambient temp are 53 and 32 Celcius running the CPU at 4.3ghz. I have played with pausing my GPU a couple times and it does tend to raise and lower the internal case, and therefore CPU, temps ~3-5 degrees. Recommendations from me would be - upgrade from stock cooler, clean all the thermal paste off and apply something like Arctic Silver, seat the heatsink properly, make sure all case fans and filters are not caked in dust restricting airflow, make sure exhaust fans have adequate backspace to vent. It's also possible that the thermal probes are faulty. If you can check with an IR/laser type thermal probe. Best of luck.

Yeah I understand that I am getting higher temps because of stock heatsink. So far I cleaned all my fans, replaced the stock TIM with AS5, cleaned the heatsink, and created (somewhat) unidirectional airflow in my case.

Better cooling is coming soon though. I just cant justify spending money for an air cooler when a WC loop is in the plan this summer.

It looks like the temps have stabilized as it ran FAH overnight. But I still don't know what caused the previous spike in temps. Thank you all for ideas and help.
