One of my fondest memories of gaming comes from watching my oldest brother playing that on windows 95, and the time when you enter the baby's room and see that "thing" scared the poop out of me, years later i reinstalled it and found it, and it still scared me even tho i knew it was coming. mad.gif

I know right? And the same feeling returns several times during the game, and between the scary things there's almost impossible mind puzzles (since the game is insanely difficult even by today's complex game standards). Thing is, if you don't get past them or miss items you have to pick up somewhere, you will end up getting stuck later on in the game as punishment, hehehe.

Yeah I noticed that it makes you tackle differnet puzzles, it wasn't just differnet endings, you had different playthrus if you messed something up.

Yeah, in some cases you have to be very quick otherwise the game will advance and you'll miss out on something you will need later on.. In other cases (like the vault or the electronic door in the Lighthouse) you have to find the information you need in books and pieces of paper scattered around, and 'Sherlock Holmes' your way through it all to figure out what you need and what you need to do with it biggrin.gif

I love that game, despite its age it still poses a formidable challenge to keep my brain busy when I play it tongue.gif

Perfect example, there is a way i found out later via FAQs of locking that mech bird in the room by throwing something as soon as you seem him the first time but takes perfect aim and timing.

Aliens Vs Predator, the "new" one - its great and being able to play as Alien, Predator and Humans in 3 different intertwined stores is great. Dead Space 1 and 2 are VERY good as well
