neither, buy pokemon yellow, it has better colors (red and blue versions just have a red or blue tint)

I still have the box from my pokemon yellow, but sadly, the game and gameboy are long gone

I prefer pokemon blue, it's the one my mom got me as a kid and I loved it. Although Growlith is my favorite nothing compares to a lvl 80 Blastiose ...

I play on my iPhone though so I can "speed up" its so slow otherwise

I prefer blue because I like the pokemons on there better. My parents first bought me red, but I rarely played it compared to the countless amount of hours I spent playing blue.

Eyesight? You could power a small town with the batteries that I went through on my gameboys. Horrible little machines, really.

Kids today have it so easy with their backlit, rechargeable, clamshell... *grumble* uphill in the snow both ways....

I had both red and blue... I honestly didn't care which, but I'd rather see the world through a blue tint than a red one, unless you really want one of the version-specific pokemon.
