More than 3/4 of the people in the world dont need to upgrade.

Most people dont need anything more than a socket 775 E8400.

The age old question.

What do you need?

Truly brake it down, we need nothing more then Air, Water, Food and shelter.

God thats stupid. Comment like that serves no purpose.

This is not the same. Its not so much a need but more a want. People upgrade because they think they need too. Unfortunately, the large majority in the world that use PCs dont know any better.

If you only upgrade when you "need" to then you probably wouldnt be on a forum like this. If youre a PC enthusiast, chances are you upgrade often because cool new toys are always a lot of fun. Im on my 4th processor in 3 years and am really getting the itch to try a 8120 for something new to play with. I dont do this hobby for need. I do it for fun and Id wager most members here would be the same. thumb.gif

The rumors or whatever that Ive heard said Q3 for them to start shipping to retailers but possibly early Q4 before theyre actually available for purchase. Thats nothing official of course, just the rumor mill.

Hehe, I see your point. But I was under the impression that he was thinking that he was for some reason forced to uppgrade biggrin.gif

Bulldozer launched in early October of last year and I see no reason why AMD couldn't launch it early Q3 unless their are trying to devote more resources to their APU production.
