The fact one is sold by EVGA plus you get the EVGA warranty and support crew.

What was shown with that wooden box package was a reference model, basically the exact card nVidia offers. EVGA always sells reference models first then offers a non-reference model that has been tweaked / altered down the road.

Is this card expected to have different cooling solution later down the road? I dont recall the gtx 590 to have different cooling solution except for the ASUS MARS, but i could be wrong though
