Should be, because i think ATA 133 is backwards compatible with ATA

Yup, it is! ATA133/100/66/33 hard drives are 100% compatible with all other speeds, they will simply work at the max speed supported by the contoler, cable, and the drive its self.

Not to state the (hopefully) obvious, but you can't just drop any old hard drive into a standard XBox. You'll need to put in a mod chip first. After that, you'll be fine with almost any standard PC hard drive.
