The ratings, if they are accurate, are right in line with gentle typhoons and noctuas. My biggest problem with fans in the past has been motor-whining when undervolted by a fan controller for quieter operation. If these fans undervolt well with my NZXT Sentry, that would seal the deal.

There is one thing that needs to be compared between these fans and the GT's.,....Static pressure and thats it...

You can have all the CFM that you want, but if you don't have the static pressure to compete then these are nothing more than a glorified case fan nothing more...The only reason we can trust the spec of the GT is because they are made by Nidec Servo, not scythe. If you look at the rest of scythe's range they are no better than the competitors..

Well I have 2 of the high performance sp fans tomorrow to put on my H-8., I will put them on my 600t's fan controller if Corsiar ever gets around to sending the replacement to the one that quit working 5 min. after I turned the case on rolleyes.gif

Anyhoo...That looks pretty good. Definitely different from having colored LED's. The red colored rings compliments that build perfectly. Though, did anyone notice the lack of a crossfire bridge? rolleyes.gif
The megaflow wont fit, 30mm is too thick. You will have to remove the HDD cage completely.
The Spectre Pro is 25mm and you can keep the HDD where it is, will just be a very tight fit.

Any reviews out for these fans yet? Would really like to see how these pit against the more well known fans like the Noctuas, Cougar, and GTs in things like air flow, static pressure (for those types of fans), and, most important for me, noise level and the type of sound at varying speeds.
