As long as they are G1/4 thread the fittings will be fine. You need 7/16" ID x 5/8" OD Compression fittings x 2-

Like I said in the begining, I know nothing about how this works, so Im not sure if I lead a tube to that fill hole, or if I have to set the res up there. It looks like the EK one might work better because I can get it in there. The bay loaded res on the Raystorm kit worries me. Like I said earlier too, I got a bigwater yesterday, just returned it, one of the reasons being that when it was installed in my case, the res fill hole did not line up to the hole on the top of the HAF. I wish someone with experience with this case would chime in smile.gif. Either way, I am waiting till tomorrow to order. I am going to call the guys at FrozenCPU and have them walk me through the process. They seem to be the place to buy the parts online, so I am sure they know how they work better than anybody else. I'll keep updating the thread here though!

You can place a barb/compression fitting in the top of the res and run it to a fill fort using some hose. I'm looking into the HAF 932 now-

Like I said place a 1/2 Barb or 7/16" ID x 5/8" OD Compression fitting in the top of the res where the fill port is. Run a hose from there to the DD fill port. Remove the black top plug. Thanks man. So now just to decide what kit I want. ATM I am leaning towards the EK kit just because everything I heard about them is glowing, the RES, pump and cpu waterblock are all rated very good. I saw that the contents of the other kit got good reviews too, but I think it sounds like the EK stuff got a better review. Since most sites don't use numbers and just weigh the pros and cons, its hard to compare based on their reviews. It just sounded like most people were happier, or more excited about the EK stuff. And it probably wouldnt hurt to keep everything the same brand. Things tend to work better that way I find in most cases.

Also want to ask, is either kit going to be enough for the loop I want to run? Just cooling my CPU and GPU. I wont need a 2nd rad with one of these big 360's or whatever size they are, right? Also, is the single pump going to be enough? I am seeing some setups with what looks like alot.

I could just get 2 more of these right?

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/12504/ex-tub-789/XSPC_G14_Thread_716_ID_x_58_OD_Low_Profile_Compression_Fitting_-_Black_Chrome.html

Those are the ones that come with the kit, that way they all match.

Is that worth picking up? I will have plenty of room as I am attaching the radiator outside of the case to the top. There are holes there for mounting a radiator.

correct

A 360 if perfect for a cpu and gpu loop. General rule a thumb is 120mm per device your cooling and if possible an extra 120. 2 devices*120=240 and you have that extra 120mm of cooling left. The 655 is a great pump and there is plenty of room for growth.
I run dual pumps but I also run 1080mm of rad space and my pc runs full bore for days straight. The second pump is piece of mind when i'm not in front of my pc if one of the pumps fail the loop is still cooling.

The EK kit comes with 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD tubing and fittings, those are too large and won't seal properly. Those are the correct size if you're getting the XSPC kit instead.

Still trying to decide what kit I want. Going to give it an hour or two of thought and then make the order. If anyone has any last minute suggestions, please let me know. I am thinking the XSPC kit just because I can get everything to match, the 5.25 bay res is kind of cool, and I have plenty of room to work with up there. Also the radiator is slightly smaller at 360mm. The EK one is 400mm. Not sure if I have 400mm available to mount on top of the case, a little of the rad might hang off and that sounds unattractive lol. The EK site says that the radiator is compatible with my case, the HAF 932, specifically, so I am not really sure. When I click the link it brings me to the advanced version of my case, but there aren't many differences, specifically in measurements. The XSPC kit does look good though, and I have heard great things about their block. The EK block is very good too though as far as I know. lol. This is so frustrating smile.gif Wish I could just pick.

Thinking about waiting on the order so that I can get a little more familiar with everything, also might be planning a build from the ground up some time in the next 12 months, so probably wait for that. If I can't find another solution for cooling the VGA atm, then I might just jump in now... I am looking at these..

Accelero Xtreme PLUS II - http://www.arctic.ac/en/p/cooling/vga/376/accelero-xtreme-plus-ii.html?c=2182

Accelero Hybrid - http://www.arctic.ac/en/p/detail/index/sArticle/569/sCategory/2182

I am thinking of waiting until the 29th and picking up this self contained VGA cooler, the Hybrid. Considering I already have the Corsair H70 on the CPU, this is all I would really need at the moment, and I would save nearly 300-400 instead of dumping all this money into this new setup. What I am wondering is if people think the Hybrid will do a much better job than the xtreme plus II, considering there is a 100 dollar price difference. Sorry for flip flopping all over the place the past couple days. Just alot running through the brain ya know smile.gif haha. I think I need a res up there before the damn thing overheats. tongue.gif
