Overclocking I5-2500k. Is OC'ing w/ Turbo boost as effective/safe? EDIT: Stable at 4.613 GHz...so far

Hey Just built a new computer, I5-2500k CPU, Cooler Master V6GT, Gigabyte mobo etc.
I've spent the last two days reading every forum/info page on overclocking I think there is.
Well, i read until I was bored.
Anyway. I'm going for a stable 4.5-4.6GHz.
Followed a couple of guides, and I kept crashing.
I'm running Intel burn first, then Prime95 to check stability.
Found one guide that suggested OC'ing with the Intel Turbo boost instead of Vcore
OC'd the turbo boost to 46x, and fiddled with a couple things, (turned LLC to level4, and set vcore at 1.335)
So far seems to be running solid.
CPU-Z - 4613.51MHz, Core Voltage 1.320V, Bus Speed 100.3
Temps are 68 max on the hottest core, hovering around 66
IntelBurn ran on high fine
Going on a hour and a half on Prime95 w/o out a problem

Mainly wondering if the "Turbo Boost" is as effective as a Vcore/multiplier Overclock and if it safer or more dangerous.
...honestly safety isn't my main concern... ha I'd be bummed if I fried the CPU but, what the hell?337

Its good, its safe, maybe try to lower the voltage a bit but its fine.

Doubt you will fry a 2500k at 4.5 ghz range, unless u do something like 1.9v kookoo.gif

Tried lowering Vcore just a bit and it wouldn't have it.
Then tried tweaking Vcore with a lower PLL.
Nothing stayed stable under Intel Burn.
So, I'm sticking with this setup for now.

Frequency Settings
Clock ratio 33x
Blck OC Disabled (@100.0MHz)
CPU PLL Overage: Auto
Reatime Ratio changes: Disabled
Intel Turbo boost: Enabled
Each core set to 46x multiplier
C3/C6 Auto
Everything else disabled

XMP Profile 1(don't really know the difference here)

Voltage settings
Multistep Load Line(LLC) Level4
Vcore set at 1.335V
QPI: Auto
SAV: Auto
PLL: Auto
DRAM: 1.26 (rocking low voltage RAM)

I am also overclocking my GPU its a ASUS Radeon HD7850. Just planning on OCing from Catalyst Control Center. Wondering if i can just max out the sliders to
1050MHz GPU Clock, Stock is set at 870MHz
1450 MHz memory Clock , Stock is set at 1210MHz

Thanks in advance for the help.
Any recommendations on the GPU or CPU clock are greatly appreciated!
