Personally, I am good with my 570 Classified enjoying it immensely. thumb.gif

No, I hear you. Anandtech actually commented on that same train of thought at the conclusion of their 690 review...and the answer is, yes. From a single-GPU perspective - the 690 is still worth it. thumb.gif

Anandtech: With that said, this would typically be the part of the review where we would inject a well-placed recap of the potential downsides of multi-GPU technology; but in this case there’s really no need. Unlike the GTX 590 and unlike the GTX 295 NVIDIA is not making a performance tradeoff here compared to their single-GPU flagship card. When SLI works the GTX 690 is the fastest card out there, and when SLI doesn’t work the GTX 690 is still the fastest card out there. For the first time in a long time using a dual-GPU card doesn’t mean sacrificing single-GPU performance, and that’s a game changer.

I spent already 1300 in just one month as you would see. I'm serious about this card. In June, (the end of it anyways), I will be ready for this card. Sorry, must get new Ivy/Z77 parts first for this month.
Point is, I hope someone will help me out, by remembering this post towards the end of June and tell me any info on obtaining this card @ the MSRP price. (or as close as can be) Then in a month from that, I want a second and the smexy bridge I have seen with this in sli.
6 months... it is killing me. But pursuit of badassery is so in my veins right now, no matter the cost. (as long as the cost is fair)

Looking forward to seeing that build, sounds very interesting. On that 690...I imagine it will be elusive for a minute. Juuust a minute. EVGA and NewEgg are the ones to hit first for sure.

Well damn. This card sounds like it will be the Holy Grail to rule them all, has anyone seen SLI numbers on the 690? It has to be mind blowing. drool.gif

Probably. And in my "3sheetstothewind" mind state, I'm probably talking out my ars. But will be very interesting to see the 4GB 680 come out and see that in sli. hmmmm thinking.gif what to do in June....
