Snag a 7900gt?

Ok so I have a bit of a delima:
I've decided to throw this rig together:
Opeteron 165 - $159.99
Lanparty NF4-D - $88
Aspire X-cruiser (black) - $59.99
Aspire ATX-600w (blue) - $69.99
BFG 7600gt - $113

The total coming out to $491

Anyways, after my dad offered to pay for the psu and case, and my stepdad offered to throw $150 into the fray..... I'm left at $210

Now I'm also planning on selling my AGP x1600pro... I'm not quite sure how much for, but would $70 be a decent estimate? (some help on what this is worth plz?)

My total is now at $140 or so... a pretty sweet deal.... now here's my delima... If I'm getting this rig for this little, i might as well get something else right? Should i be investing into a second 7600gt? maybe scrap the 7600gt and go for a 7900gt? I was also thinking of just keeping the 7600gt and grabbing a 250gb 16mb cache sata3.0 to store some more games (my internals are near full)... could someone offer me some help on this issue as well as an estimation for the AGP x1600pro in my specs? and what happened to the 165 at newegg? it was $159.99 on auto notify for awhile and just vanished... are they bringing in a new shipment? how long does that usually take? quite eager to get to building ^_^

First, the Opty 165 is there for $169:

Personally, I would invest in RAM with any extra money you have. You currently have a mix of different sized sticks, and I seriously would sell those also, and get a decent 2x1 GB RAM kit.

What is the total budget you have?

Checked e-Bay (searched completed items). I see the X1600Pro AGP going for like $90-$100, which is quite surprising given that's not too much less than the new price on Newegg. Let's stick with $80 to be safe

Thus: $69.99 + $13.98 + $89.99 + $7.64 = $181.60 (Case + PSU, including shipping, before rebate) from dad
$150 from stepdad
$80 from Video card
$80 (just a random guess, no idea what RAM you have, probably a little low)

Total $491.60 + whatever you want to spend.

Depending on what you want to spend, there are different options. Since I do highly recommend new RAM as your highest priority, a Core 2 Duo rig might not be far of. Just something to think about.

would the ram really hinder my comp's performance? how much could i get for these sticks and how much would a decent 2x1gb set?

Thanks for the advice... I've also decided that i could just transfer all my music and videos from my 80gb to my 250gb and not have to purchase a 250gb just yet...

Now my current payment towards the comp is $140ish... if i take away the 7600gt ($118) and instead purchase a 7900gt, ill be at $230ish.... is this probably my best choice? otherwise, how much do you think i could get for the 1gb+512mb sticks? they're currently running at 2.5-3-3-8 timings... maybe if i sell them for a decent enough amount and find a good deal on the ram, i could push for the 2x1gb and the 7900gt... otherwise, which would be the better choice?
