BF3 keeps crashing when I try to launch multiplayer. Clean install. Help?

I was having this issue before, and the quick way I resolved it was to format my driver and start over. I never really tried to troubleshoot it, or ask for help, but it's doing it again.

I re-installed the game, and the issue still persists. What can I do to fix it?
I am fairly tech savy, so tell me what to try, and i'll do it.

Here's what it shows me:

Try setting your CPU, and GPU while you're at it, back to their stock clocks and see what happens.

What would reseating my cpu / gpu do? And I have not run a memtest, no. I didn't even think of doing one, since this ram is just a little over a month old. And wouldn't I have other issues if it was my ram?

Also, I've only OC'd my CPU 100MHz beyond it's stock turbo speed. It's not really that intense of an overclock wheee.gif

It's an issue caused by "Fault Module Name: msvcrt.dll" I'm assuming. I don't get any errors with any other games.

EDIT*: Just noticed that there were optional updates for my computer. "Security Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (KB2467173)"

That module I assumed was the issue, is part of Microsoft Visual C++, so I'm hoping this will fix it.
I'll report back with the result after a restart smile.gif

Origin is useless with troubleshooting stuff like this. Looks like I'm reinstalling windows again. ***.

I dont think he means to physically reseat the CPU & GPU, just reset the clocks to stock

you can reinstall windows all day if u like ur wasting ur time , run prime 95 to see if your cpu is stable ..

When bf3 multiplayer loads it shoots the cpu upto 99% i see it everytime on my coretemp gadget , thats where you crash .. More voltage , or back the oc down .

fixed .

Edit : msvrct i think is display related , graphic drivers .

What drivers are you using on your 7970's
