I purchased an FC5v2 recently, delivered 2 days ago. When installing yesterday I found I had a faulty temp sensor wire.
Emailed Lamptron about a replacement wire, or even to just
purchase one and was told to go through the retailer, amazon/platinum micro. If they can't do anything I'm to contact them again.
I see no reason to send the entire unit back through some lengthy process when I'd rather pay a couple of dollars and just get the wire.
I'm not sure why they directed me to leave feedback here when they haven't done anything for my situation, but there you have it. I'll update as things progress. Rather than RMA over such a simple issue, I'd probably just return the thing over fooling with it further.

Platinum Micro, Inc., the seller through Amazon, contacted me immediately after going through Amazon to reach them. Had an issue with 1 sensor wire, they immediately sent me, with confirmation number, a full set to be sure it was taken care of. Great seller and still happy with the product as well. No qualms with going through either again in the future.
