I want to listen to Internet Radio - Anything like AppleTV?

Hey Guys,

So I am housesitting for a friend right now who has an AppleTV. Normally, I wouldn't buy jack from Apple (Scratch my faithful 160GB Classic), however I am thinking of picking up an AppleTV purely to listen to Internet Radio.

I have been looking around for a way to organize and browse Internet Radio stations with the same variety, and ability to add favorites on the PC but haven't come up with much.

The other thing I like is having a remote. I would prefer if it had a volume control but it's better than nothing. I was thinking if I found a decent software solution I would just pick up a wireless mouse and use that. Unless there are other hardware options out there that include a remote with volume control?

Anyone heard of anything else that I could check out? Or am I best just picking one up, slapping a Pirate Bay Sticker over the Apple, and loadin er up with Pink Floyd pictures for the screensaver?

Depending on your router the squeezebox connection can be a bit...shoddy. The wireless receiver is not really that good and it's more designed for a wired connection.

I was really swamped the last few weeks, never got a chance to check back in. I am so far just doing the iTunes radio thing. Has similar stations to the AppleTV. I will definitely check out Pandora with a proxy. Used to use that site to find similar music, until they disallowed connections from the Great White North wink.gif
