the option to be able to remove it IF it detect another browser?to automaticly download ie if it detect your browser is being erased?hell ya !why not!this would be perfect

Although this won't affect me in the slightest, I still feel it's a bad strategy for Microsoft, and a lot of their customers.

I get the feeling people just won't bother with Windows 8. the UI was enough to scare me off altogether.

So no matter how hard they try to influence how or what people do, in the end, they get the final say by not buying this OS. I don't think this is going to be a success for Microsoft.

I didn't even notice that lol I'm not 100% sure but I think "payed" might be American English. They tend to spell things differently like "color" instead of "colour" and use "z" more often, such as "customize" instead of "customise"

lol, the only movie I still have on a disk is a blu-ray one [Chronicles of Narnia] ... and that's just cos i had to test my laptop's blu-ray player. And I don't even use wmp for videos 95% of the time. (MPC + VLC are more than enough ).

This might become a problem for average users though since installing a different player might be a challenge for some. It is - however - important to note that a lot of customers these days are leaning more towards online streams and the like so this change might further accelerate the process. (I know it is stupid since a lot of people simply don't have internet connections fast enough for such streams ).

The enthusiast market will probably remain unaffected by this ... it is the calls of "Hey man, I got this new machine with windows 8 and I can't play my DVD!! I knew I should have just grabbed a mac or something!" that I don't want to deal with ....
