Never overclocked b4 need help - Page 2

The more info you can provide on your memory modules will give us an indication to their potential. The part numbers esp are important.

Take a read through the overclocking guide and get an understanding of the terminology used and principles.

Then come back and ask away

and also if you don't know anything about overclocking, do a few weeks worth of reading. because if you ask us we're going to start talking terms you won't know. so read and find out where everything is located first, then start overclocking.....

http://www.overclock.net/amd-general...ing-guide.html

in cpuz my ram says its in slot 1 and slot 2, but i put my ram into the 1 and 3 slots on the motherboard, well the 2 that matched but they arnt right next to each other.

you messed up and need to reinstall windows and READ how to properly overclock. one thing at a time.

find out your max FSB, then find out your max proc speeds. THEN combine them.
