FOV scales to aspect ratio, not resolution. You will see the exact same amount playing on both the monitors.

Ask almost anyone here and they will say their monitor is just the perfect size. It's easy to get used to a certain size. This results in a massive amount of "X is the best size IMO" statements. tongue.gif

Many people still do, with good reasons.

What happens when you put a game into window mode. The resolution automatically adjusts to your window size? Or if you set the game to 2560x1600 and shrink the window its just a smaller 2560x1600? Is that even possible? not sure how that works...

Well I have 2560x1440. I see more detailed or less blocky model in the in-game honrizon due the game just scale up to the resolution.

I had a 2560x1440 monitor. While it was great for gaming, it really really taxed my system and my eyes :-) I went back to 1920x1200 and for me I think that is the perfect resolution. Not to big not too small and it plays games completely maxed out with getting your system too hot or loud.

yea i love high resolutions...been playin on 2560 1600 and it was hard goin to 2560 1440..but both are amazing!..i cant imagine going any lower anymore:)

30in 2560 1600=136,533 pixels per inch
27in 2560 1440=136,533
24in 1920 1200=96,000
23in 1920 1080=90,156
bigger is better!smile.gif

I've got a 25" 1080p hp monitor and I find the text to be just perfect for browsing/coding and gaming is just right too.

I wouldn't say no to a 4k monitor, but for now I'm happy.

I had a 30" Apple Cinema back in the day, but it was too big.

Really.
