Windows won't boot when the wireless adapter is installed.

I have this weird issue with a PCIe wireless adapter: Rosewill RNX-N250PCe. When I plug it in to my mobo, the windows boot freezes at the screen where it says "Starting Windows." The colors that swirl in to make the windows logo just freeze in mid swirl and I have to hold down the power button to restart the system.

The strange thing is that the card is correctly identified in BIOS and everything seems to be in order till I try to launch windows. If I pull the card out, windows starts just fine. I installed the drivers from the cd that came with the card, still no love. I downloaded the drivers from the rosewill website and still nothing. Tried different PCIe slots with same results.

Any insights?

I figured I would update this thread, turns out the wireless card is not compatible with one of the components in my build. After RMA, the new card had the same behavior. I put the card in a different rig and it fired right up, installed drivers and was actually pretty fast.

Buyer beware, I guess?
