My mind cannot comprehend how the specs and performance are so close to the 680, yet this card is so much smaller.
In addition, nVidia marketed the 680 as the most 'efficient' GPU in the world. I would image with the size of 670, it will easily take that title.
So if they release the 670 at $399, it will hurt the sales of the 680 as you can get a more efficient card that is just a tad bit slower.
What they need to do is unlock the voltage of the 680 and label it as the 'enthusiast' card.
