Hey guys.

I just recived muffins 3700+ and Its stable @ 3ghz WoooooHooooooo

http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=131481

It could possibly go higher with better ram as I am using my backup single channel DRR400's just now

Temps
Idle temp - 32c
Load temp - 42c
NF4 Chipset - 46c (Its very hot im going to set up some fans around it)

Voltages

Vcore - 1.58v (bios says 1.6v)
Chipset 1.50v (cant go higher gets to hot)

For some reason I can run 300*10 it has to be 275*11 Maybe something to with the ram(its running on a 7/10 Divider)

I've said this before, RAM in no way limits the CPU's potential. That's about what he reached with it. Good RAM only gives you better performance at a given CPU speed, not higher CPU speeds.

So what would be stopping me using 300Mhz on this board? Chipset temps?

In reviews It has reached 360Mhz +

Reaching 300FSB, maybe. 46C is fine for a chipset, it's like a CPU, keep it below 50. I'd suggest running a more aggressive divider, and shooting for 300 x 10 again. That's what I'm running right now.

What Divider do you reccomend - remeber im using some crappy kingston + unnamed ram cause my XMS is dead

As low as it takes. At 300, probably a 2/3. (6/9 or 6/10, can't remember the Divider options at the moment)

2:3 then. That will keep the RAM running at stock speed (assuming it's PC3200), and have your HTT at 300.
Weird, I've had kindof the same problem with my cpu, it seems to hate anything other than 11x. I have to go 11x whatever, I've tried 10x 200-300 and it only likes 11x 200 up to 255. So 2805mhz for me.

I was suspecting it may have been the motherboard, but I'm not quite sure what the problem is, I've learned to live with the 11 multi.
