corsair ax 650 or ax 750?

Thread Starter
I gave up my project to change my rig all at once with a Ivy Bridge + gtx 680 build. Instead, I decided to go with regular upgrades, starting from the PSU.

I am looking for a fully modular supply, and comparing prices, warranty and quality I have decided to go with a corsair ax, but I am unsure about the wattage. I will need to power something like an i7 3770k + gtx 680, 2 hdds, 1 ssd ,1 pump and 7 fans. And I want to have plenty of headroom for overclocking. I am quite confident that 650W will be enough, but I might go with the 750W for my peace of mind.

What do you guys think?

Go with the 750, it allows more expandability in the future

I'm not sure how much power a pump would take, but without a pump you'd be using about 475 watts. So I'm guessing a 650 would work.

Now I am leaning towards the 650, since I will most likely stick to a single GPU solution. Thank you guys, I will place my order tonight biggrin.gif
