Battlefield 3 huge issue

Ok I'll be quick. Launch origin and internet dies. I have to restart the router to gain access to the internet again. I managed to get bf3 download till 36% but that's it. After than my net started dying. As soon as origin starts, internet dies !
What the hell is going on? Googling didn't help at all. I was told on a battlelog forum thread that there have been server issues but could they be so big enough to cause my internet to die? Seriously? Anyone else had/has this issue? Sorry I didn't know in which section and thanks in advance :/

While I can't offer advice on your particular issue, I have experienced disconnects due to server load before. A long time ago I played WoW on a high population server to which my connection was not very good... occasionally when trying to log into a busy area, I would not only get disconnected from Blizzard, but my modem would actually lose its connection for a few seconds. I guess it is possible you should simply try again at a later time.

As I thought. I tried it on my laptop too.Guess what, it crashed too. Imagine how many millions of players are trying to login and how loaded the server might be at the moment. Thanks for your reply. I'll keep trying.
