Why not go with RGB strips and choose whatever color you like, whenever you like?

An update on my glass panel. I cut the center tint with a razor blade and pulled it up for more of a window look, and added red LED's to the ceiling behind the fans:

It looks like a monochrome LCD screen now.... that would be cool, having a monochrome LCD on the side panel so you can change the tint and draw stuff on it

dude!that looks fantastic! would you recomment polycarbonate sheet as an alternative to glass?will you get the same transparency as glass and can you use the invisible glass spray on polycarbonate?

You could use Poly sheet if you wanted too. I just prefer glass. And the bottle of Invisible Glass is probably the best glass cleaner on the market IMO. It is safe for use with everything. No ammonia, and truly streak free.

Yes agree dude ! Excellent job and I don't think the LEDs are too bright now anyway. Of course you can use different density of LEDs on the strips anyway which wopuld give a brighter or darker effect.

I really like the way there is an ambient white glow instead of just direct white light, white LED's look the best in a rig IMO.
