Ghetto Ivy Bridge build [Help me out!]

Thread Starter
Ok, so I've been a long time AMD guy (for price reasons) now. I'm really wanting to go Ivy. I'm trying to do a "budget build" that I can upgrade things piece by piece in the near future. I'm looking to use some existing items (crap) I already own and dump a new Cpu + Mobo in. Don't give me any grief for using outdated "stuff" with this new cpu and mobo because within 3 months-ish it will all be replaced, but again, not right now. Wanted to add I only play sc2 and Wow. Not looking to get the l33t fps in current shooters and like I said. I will be replacing the gpu and ram within a couple months.

Let me also say, I don't know much about Intel. Here goes the question portion of my thread.

Will this stuff work?

Thermaltake Frio
G.SKILL Ripjaws 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (x2)
OCZ Fatal1ty 750W
Nvidia Gtx 260

Yes.

The only problem I can think of is your Frio not having the mounting plates for Socket 1155, But it ships with them, so I suppose as long as you have them still..
I also checked on a PSU calculator, and exchanged your CPU for a slightly more power-hungry CPU and it said <750W.

So yes, it should all work.
