CPU-z validation

The Corsiar H100 was the trick for a nice stable 4ghz with a low Volt setting too. Specs are set to

Vcore 1.4 (Shows 1.34 in CPUz at ideal 1.328 at 100%load)
HT 1.38
NB 1.4
Memory FSB unlinked
FSB 1800mhz

Ran Prime 95 for 30 min and the CPU only got to 50 C. Ill run this for a while biggrin.gif Oh and this is my first Overclocking adventure, took about 4 hours or so to get it to 4ghz, took 100mhz steps stayed at 3.6 for a while. Im stoked

The V-droop on that mobo is horrible, take a look at the pencil V-droop mod, with it you should be able to push 4.2GHz

Tell me about it lol. Mine was average .0598V, I like what im running at for the moment, sits at 1.344V at idle, 1.328V load, which i think i read somewhere was the voltage max before you start to take down the life. Not that it matters really, chip is lick 60 bucks these days, and i might get a q9650 if i spot one on ebay thats a good buy, keep this as a backup or build a nicer media center with it.
