Why so many butt hurt 680 owners in here??

I'm still rockin a gtx 480... Does that put me in the dumpster already? If you own a 680 i see no reason to complain!

Because they could have just gotten an 670 and saved over $100 for the same/better performance!

You pay a premium to be the first kid on the block with a new toy.

Everyone knows you are paying high tier pricing for mid range products.... but people still pay.

I will be picking up a 670 (assuming I can get one at launch) and if the price drops 3 months later I won't care.

So as an example, a couple of months later the 660 ti is 100+ cheaper and can outperform your 670, you wouldn't be a little upset at all?

The pride & joy of owning the newest technology before everyone else sure outweigh the price difference. If somebody can't think that through, he/she shouldn't bother to buy it in the first place.biggrin.gif

Only a few % off the 680...
Really interested in how the 660ti will perform. 670 might be a useless card.

You should move on to something else if you have that mentality with any piece of hardware.

I totally understand this, its really up to the person. So as long as you are ok with it, then its all good.

I think it shouldn't perform better don't you agree being a lower model?

Is this true? I just bought a 7950 and I was kicking myself when I read what the GTX 670 was capable of. Do you know any links where I could find the OC'd 7950 data?

Thanks!

I'm know these must be nice, but I'll stick with my SLI setup for a couple of years until one GPU card (not the GTX 690) can outperform them. smile.gif
