LOL biggrin.gif

I hear ya. But as I said if that ends up being consistent with Newegg...

Talk about getting the rug pulled out beneath ya for the 680/7970... ouch.

Exactly. If the OC'ed version of the 670 is this much cheaper than the 680, just imagine how much cheaper the reference card might be. It could be a little less just because the OC'ed version isn't a massive OC like I'm sure the SOC will be; but at the same time the reference card's board is significantly smaller, so that could be a big factor in pricing as well.

I can't wait for it to come out! biggrin.gif

TT previewed an overclocked 670. According to the article it seems like the 670 isn't a crazy overclocker, similar to the 680.

http://www.tweaktown.com/articles/4715/nvidia_geforce_gtx_670_2gb_video_card_overclocked_performance_preview/index1.html

Wasn't sure if ^ that warranted it's own thread or not. Didn't want to get in trouble for posting it (though I could use the rep lol).

If the windforece is $412, that is crazy!

That means 670 reference will be around $400?

As suspected, the Reference 670's aren't going to OC as well the Windforce model, which is using a non-reference PCB.

It was silly to think that all 670s were going to hit 1300+mhz. People see literally one review of a single sample and freak out. The 670 I'm sure is a great card but it will be slower then the 680 and 7970 pushed to their max. It will likely be faster then the 7950 even maxxed out I think so it's still a win for Nvidia no matter which way you slice it.
