All the HP, Dell, ViewSonic, and Samsung monitors my family has ever owned, we've never had a problem with any of them. This ranges from a tiny CRT monitor all the way to the U3011 monitor.

I have a 7 year old CCFL LCD monitor that has been used 24/7 and still works. Though the screen has gotten much dimmer from when it first arrived, it's still functional with an office computer.
