UPDATED** 5/13/2012 PAGE 2

I originally got a good deal on a Rampage IV Extreme so I decided my next upgrade would be to 2011 platform (why not right?). I'm still awaiting my board (long story - paid for 2.5 weeks ago), but I went ahead and bought a 3930k from Microcenter and today I received my new RAM from the egg! Aesthetically I don't' think I'll see to much of a difference, but I do hope the performance gives me a nice jump. Yes it's overkill for what I do, but it all comes to minimal out of pocket thumb.gif.

Current setup (Mobo/RAM/CPU all sold already and will be shipped out Monday):

i7 920 D0 @ 4.2 - under water
Rampage III Extreme
12GB Vengeance 1600
2x Sapphire 7970 CFX - under water

622

New:

3930k - under water
Rampage IV Extreme
16GB Vengeance 1866 (RED)
2x Sapphire 7970 - under water

450
450
700

Also thinking of adding the second 120 rad on the back to my loop (already has a 120 and 360). What do you guys think?

450

I will be adding more pics once I figure out the Motherboard issues. Any opinions?

I thought about it, but I think it looks to cluttered with that extra tubing. That's also a reason why i'm thinking twice about putting that extra rad in.

It's hard seeing this current setup go. Many days and nights we had.

Once i figure out what I'm doing about the mobo i will put up before and after numbers of some benches. I guess it really depends on budget, what you do warrant an "upgrade", or if the upgrade itch hits you like it seems to hit me way too often.

I'm really interested in this build also and curious to see those benches! I want to make the same jump once the AsRock Extreme 11 comes out. I'm wondering if I'll notice any differences when working with Photoshop.
