im looking at this comp and the price and wondering how much it would probably cost to get someone to build a similar system for me.


any comp builders feel free to tell me how much they would take to build a system so i get a rough idea

Wow that's a lot of money.. you could probably make a better system if you build it yourself, personally I would not go with 7900GT SLI now. And another processor like the E6600 would cut some off the price as well, and it's still a great performer.

Not bad specs. However you can build a bette system yourself for that kind of money. No jokes and the X6800 is rather extreme for most users the E6600/E6700 would serve you just as good. Also with that system in the link its very expensive and doesnt boast the best parts around...Doesnt even have a soundcard such as the X-FI but only onboard 8.1

Specs arent bad, i dont see anything wrong with SLi'd 7900GT's.

But really you could build a $2,000 system for less then $1,400 if you did it all yourself and sourced the products for a cheap price, and sometimes used isnt bad either just make sure there are warrantys and returns.
