Reuse my Raystorm backplate, use the screws from LGA2011 for the EK HF in my LGA1366. Can i?

Thread Starter
The raystorm backplate acts like the 2011 socket, so i believe i can mount the Easy Mount for the 2011 directly on my raystorm backplate.

315

But in this picture it shows that the 2011 screw is shorter than the 1366/1155 one. Would this give me more pressure and possible unsafe amount of force? Or to few pressure and bad temps?

I have seen this thread Ek-Supreme HF "Easy Mount" LGA-2011 and it looks like the 2011 mount has lower pressure than it should.

All this to avoid removing my mobo, DAMN U CM FOR THIS USELESS HAFX CUTOUT.

Agreed. The HAFX cutout needs shifted or enlarged half an inch. I'm unsure about the Raystorm backplate, but I was able to use the EK 1155 True backplate with a Heatkiller block smile.gif
