Looking for a ADSL modem + router

Hey guys, just like the title says, my last modem/router Netgear DGN2200, got burned last night after a thunder storm, I'm now looking for a replacment I researched but found the answers a bit confusing and not always up to date, so would like to ask you guys for some sugestion.

All depends what features you want and what your current wired and wireless devices support, you could spend a few dollars/pounds or hundreds...

You could get another of the same router or upgrade to the DGND3300 or DGND3700 would be a nice choice or maybe get a linksys e3200 or e4200

Without saying exactly what you want or need there are so many choices...

I personally use a wndr3700 and a simple tp-link modem ready for when we get fibre or if your in the UK im currently selling a belkin router here: http://www.overclock.net/t/1252102/belkin-play-max-n600-hd-300-mbps-4-port-gigabit-wireless-n-router-f7d4401uk

the best setup is to get a dsl modem and a separate router. This gives you more options if something ever changes. Maybe you switch ISP's and need a different modem or you want to start using more features that are offered by a more advanced router. For router choice i would go with the linksys E3200 or E4200 or Netgear 3700 or 3800. A cheaper route would be the Netgear WNDR3400 which has always worked well for some of my needs.
