Hey guys,
After testing the evaporating rate of the 2x dewars locator 8s,they have came back at 0.61 and 0.62.From new the rate was 0.60 lrt per day ,so they look too be good .So it works out to $500 each a unit deliverd,so they freight tomorrow to me and should have them in a week.I always have the option to sell one of them later ,if I am only using one of them.

Yeah i paid $340 for my Taylor Wharton 25LD.. a great price for what it costs new, but still very expensive. I may start buying 160L of LN2 from a local welding shop that can be deliver it in a 160L dewar to my doorstep and last me for a good while.. either that or i need to buy an additional dewar bc 25L just isnt enough to get me through a weekend of benching and no AirGas refills on weekends

id love to be able to make a dipper because withdrawal devices are just soo expensive.. almost as much as a dewar sometimes.. the ones ive seen are $500.. so +1 to the dipper thumb.gif

Yeah i received my Dewar's yesterday and had one filled 111 lrts, had little play on it ,used a little stainless steel mug i dipped the mug in and filled thermos up that way.I have a Ln2 i guy that is going to make me a cheap extractor. Its a pipe with a heat sink on the bottom and the top is a big rubber plug that blocks the top off and the pipe comes out of it.So put pipe in Dewar with heat sink on bottom ,block lid with rubber plug ln2 boils of up the pipe and ya get about 2 lrts at a time, then pull out repeat.Think ill try and find a 2 lrt dipper tho,dip in and out sounds good.Would have to be heavy bottom base on the dipper to sink hey
