In spite of the recent hacks against Sony, I doubt it. I don't see a plausible form of remote attack against your PS3. The hackers targeted financial information, not personal internet devices. They would need to induce a virus upon your system. A keylogger, or some form of PS3 trojan, I guess. Now, if this were on PC, that's a different story. Anything could happen on PC. Besides, what is there to data mine on a PS3?

I'm sorry about the lack of evidence. I'm just giving my two cents.

Edit: also, the PS3 can't support that kind of tracking tech. And, no one is going to monitor you through a PS3. Tell your dad to throw his computer out the window to be sure that he's safe thumb.gif

I am using wireless via the router. My laptop is using it and so is the ps3.
