Be sure to minimize settings on both resistors initially...

I think he had a bad card or cards personally, as he was experiencing similar heat issues with a single Gigabyte card, which is contradictory to my own experiences with it and many others I've read. I can't get my card to break 70 degrees no matter what I throw at it.

Really? I was dissapointed that I couldn't get higher than 1315 mhz without crashing. But I guess I should stop comparing to the insane chips that others have got...

if you're 1200 or below, then consider yourself unlucky

but if you can achieve aobe 1300...not sure why you're disappointed? Its definitely on the higher end of the spectrum

My card is not only one of the worst GTX670, it's also very unstable !!

At stock clocks, stutturings (no vsync) in BF3.
At +70 core and +450 mem, stable in 3DMark11.
At +70 core and +270 mem, crash in Unigine Heaven.
At +70 core and +250 mem, crash between 5 and 20 minutes in BF3 (no problem in 3DMark11 nor Unigine Heaven).
At +50 core and +100 mem, crash between 20 and 60 minutes in BF3 ...
At +40 core and +90 mem, stable (no "error") in OCCT GPU

Basically : 1190mhz core max, 3096mhz mem max

BF3 : 65% power
OCCT/Furmark/Kombustor : 94% power

mad.gif

That's a 415€ card ! I could have get the MSI (factory overclock) with reference design for 370€ ....

Here is a screenshot, after 30 minutes within Battlefield3 (+70 core, +100 mem)

700

See, Asfodhell has a bad overclocker....one of my cards is actually similar to his...it wont go past 1210 without crashing

So before any of you guys say, "oh I can't get to 1350, only 1325"....just look around and see some of us who can BARELY make 1200

Mine hits 1201 stock overclock with 111% power target. I added 50 MHz offset and 150 MHz for memory. Its stable and I'm happy. I returned an EVGA GTX 680 for this. :-)
