Thanks for the advice. I had it turned on at one point but turned it off recently. I often game with headphones on, but not always, so I hadn't noticed the whine until a couple nights ago. I'll do some testing tonight when I get home. Normally I wouldn't care but my ears are so sensitive to high pitched electronic squeals.
