So lets start with the numbers. Using AB, but same results with Precision. Newwest drivers - 301.42. Asic 88%
My stock boost goes to 1124(from 980) so the boost is 144, which is way lower than what i read here.
The card is stable at +100 (1224). Using Heaven with extreme Tessellation, 4 AA. The driver crashes at +111.
On the memory side the card is stable at +300 but I think it can go higher.
Thats for now. Pics and stuff later.

As brettjv said, I would say your stock boost is not "way lower", but rather "about average". My GB card had the identical stock boost at 1,124, but I was able to get a +125 offset out of it for a max OC boost of 1,249. Cards hitting 1,300+ are the minority, as are cards that can't break 1,200.

Final results for overclocking:

Only +124mhz more on the gpu

+700mhz on the memory

227

273

445

I can oc memory to 875, but performance decreases for some reason, so top memory speed is not the best.

I also did not bother with the gigabyte tool. Precision X to max out the voltage.

Seems in line with non beta drivers. Post max boost.

Power Limit 110%

Core Clock  +90

Memory Clock + 400%

How am I doing so far?

@ Bosniac

Thanks for the response. I hope I can take it even higher but it doesnt seem to be likely

He's asking about your max boost because telling us you have a +90 offset doesn't tell us what core clock your card is actually running at. Surprised you don't know this since I've seen you around the 670 threads many times biggrin.gif See the first link in my sig for more info on why the offset means basically nothing.

BTW 10K GPU score is fine, but I bet you're running it in 'centered' mode. If you run it 'stretched' you'll get a few hundred more points ... and that's what most people who post their scores are using.

Ah bro i am way too jetlag to know what is going on at the moment. I had never ever OCed a 670 before as i set up my system just a few hours ago so learning it first hand will be a good way for me.

I just read your thread but undestood nothing because at the moment my brain can not process information at all. I need some rest.

By the way my core clock on MSI afterburner was 1240 if that is an info that helps....

All good ... hope you've gotten some rest thumb.gif

I'd say 10K GPU score on 3dMark11 at 1240c/3400m looks perfect provided you're in centered mode on the test. Otherwise, it's maybe a tiny bit on the low side.

Here is my latest

http://3dmark.com/3dm11/3808078

My max core clock is 1240

So 980 + 90 = 1070

So my KB is 170 snce 1240-1070=170

The highest I ever see my GPU is 70 degrees and than it falls down from there. The max my fan has ever been is 60% (using a custom profile)

Also yes I am in the centered mode. Benchmark only.

Also I cant get enough rest. I need to sleep more and more. 13 days away in USA visiting LA, SF, Las Vegas and NYC and walking and doing stuff not stop was a bit too much for me.

Hope you enjoyed your trip at least. Had I known you were going to SF I'd have recommended some stuff, that's my city, man!

Also, your KB is 91, arrived at like this (1240-90-1059) ... you use the actual 'stock' boost clock for your card (which is 1059, since it's OC'd) in the calculation, not a reference card's boost value (980).

You should the 3dmark11 bench in 'stretched' mode, picks up a few hundred points, grows the epeen for free thumb.gif
