It's not a issue as the only way to get PCIE 3.0 going is to have it enabled in a Gen 3 Z68, Z77 or newer Motherboard & have a Ivy Bridge CPU e.g. 3570 etc
Hopefully by the time you upgrade it will be sorted.

When the power mode was in adaptive the clocks would go under 980 to 600 & 324 sometimes when this happened even though I had 60fps it would do like a really strange stutter (most noticeable in Max payne 3)
But with power set to max I dont have this issue.
Also just put a aEVGA Backplate on my card, looks great.
