Well, VR-Zone just put this thread up on their facebook page. Expect a flood of noobz tongue.gif I wonder what Gigabyte did that required an elongated PCB.
Got half way through this thread then said tl:dr. Sorr if this has been point out but:

Look at what version of windows is being used. Did the OP reinstall a 32bit version of windows after doing the 3dmark on a 64bit...

Again, haven't touched voltages, just modifying core and memory clocks.
This is with settings from the official Heaven test on these forums.

I modded the 301.34 ini file to get it to install. - I'm sure most of the people on this site know how to do that theirself but if you don't and if you want the 301.34 to your 680, you can get them from my fileserver WinRAR required http://adf.ly/8D6Hq (200mb download) that link has 1 advertisement on it, I may get a cent from each visit, but I think its fair considering I pay for the filehosting.

These cards are voltage locked, are you saying you COULD up the voltage?

In Afterburner, click Settings > General > check Unlock Voltage Control.

If you can up the voltage, just trying going to 1.18.

If you can up the voltage, this is going to cause quite a stir....

Also, you don't HAVE to set your fan to 85%, it can AUTO increase gradually based on temps.

Settings > Fan > Click on Enable user defined software automatic fan control.

85% appears to be the max fanspeed for 680, atleast it can't be adjusted higher, not even on auto. hmmm?

The 32 bit part you refer to is Visual C++ and not the Windows version. Both versions are 64 bit in those screencaps. wink.gif

OT: I get around the same result as the OP with my Gtx 680 in stock mode. I will keep my card but it stings a bit to see that I could have spent much less money for about the same end result.

Settings > Fan > Click on Enable user defined software automatic fan control.

It enables the option, but GPU-z shows the voltage increase is only temporary. After five seconds it returns to normal voltage levels.
You can see this as a bump in voltage and power consumption.

Yeah, just as I thought, this card is voltage locked too, wouldn't make sense for them to unlock the voltage on the 670 and not the 680.
