No, no, let them return them. There are people out there that would be more than happy to have them and actually play games with them, not fret over 800 points in a benchmark app.
Saving $100 for virtually the same in game performance doesn't sound like a good deal to you?

Why do people act like this is news ?

The 470 OCed performed like a 480, the 570 OCed performed like a 580, the same thing will happen with the 670. Those who buy the 680 do it because they really want the fastest card out there not the best bang for buck. At least that's how i see it.

Is that score at stock, stable OC or max OC? Because the 670 factory OC is besting that when pushed to Max OC. (my gpu score was over 11k)

And as others have noticed, the 670 factory OC is besting many 680 reference cards, at stock.

Which, regardless of available headroom, is quite bothersome given that it's $100 cheaper.

Seems to me this proves the 680 was a repurposed 670 from the start. Now you know why you can't find a 680 in stock.

So, that's not a stock clocked 680 score. Or if it is, its the highest stock 680 score I've ever seen by about 1k GPU points... rolleyes.gif

So with this logic an OCed 670 will perform like a stock 680 right? Wrong, an OCed 670 seems to destroy a stock 680, that's what all the fuss is about.

Seems like any manufacturer out of box factory OCed GTX 670 will perform the same as a stock GTX 680.
