I picked up one of these today for the new system I'm putting together, after reading through most of this thread, a few of the GTX 670 preview articles and Tweaktown's early review of the stock model. I've been an AMD/ATI user for quite a while (partially as I had a brother-in-law who worked for ATI here in Canada, and could get cards a bit cheaper), but after reading all the favourable opinions thus far of this card, and the price/performance ratio it's shaping up to have, I decided to go with one of these. I do a fair bit of work with video, and CUDA seems much better supported in encoding software than any acceleration via AMD cards. I also intend to get a bit more into PC gaming again, which I fell out of a while back, so I figure this card should serve me well for that purpose, too.
Unfortunately my system isn't quite finished yet, so I can't add to the benchmarks being done here (although I suspect we'll have quite a lot as of tomorrow from official reviews, anyway), but I joined up to let anyone in Toronto, Canada (and the surrounding area) know that these may now be available at a few of the popular computer stores. I phoned ahead, and they had the exact model being showcased here, Gigabyte's OC Windforce edition, in stock and available (but not able to be held). I decided to buy one now as opposed to next week, when my new system will be ready for it, just in case supply for this card ends up being as variable as its big brother.
I picked it up for $420 CDN ($419 USD, according to XE.com). They didn't have any stock 670's, so I can't say how much that will be going for.
