I do. I've seen it time and time again with Nvidia drivers; performance can DEFINITELY vary on different things like 3D Mark or specific games. This is why people bench on the same drivers if they're going head to head. Now, that definitely may not be the case here, but still. Drivers can make a difference in certain applications from version to version.
Otherwise the reason people are baffled is because the GTX 680 physically has MORE cores, thus, it does not make sense that a 670 is beating it, especially at stock speeds. No logical sense whatsoever. Yes, when OC'd the GTX 680 will beat the OC'd 670...but still. A stock 680 has higher clocks (by like 25Mhz) than the 670's OC'd clocks in this scenario in this thread, and it is still losing.
